today’s warm up ended up taking me a bit too long ahhaa. this was inspired by the weird way rainbow dash was sitting. i had to pause the video and stare!

I absolutely detest Rainbow Dash

She’s judgemental, horribly mean to all of her ‘friends’, stubborn, stuck-up and despite wanting to join the Wonderbolts seems to make no conscious effort to do so.

Stuff like making fun of Twilight for participating in the Running of the Leaves, complaining about Fluttershy in Dragonshy when she was clearly uncomfortable, avoiding Pinkie Pie and cheating in the Iron Pony Competition reminds me of the type of person I hated in school.

And people wonder why bronies hate Gilda but like Rainbow Dash. Gilda was in one episode and did nothing but try too hard to be cool and got annoyed to the point she showed how much of a jerk she is. I don’t really blame her for getting annoyed at Pinkie but I don’t think she reacted the right way. There are those bronies that hate just because of what she did to Fluttershy, but that’s not the case with everybody.

Because Rainbow Dash is a main character, she has more depths in her personality. She’s done just as much (if not, more) good as well as bad. Her mistakes seem to stick out more, though. I basically like her that much because she’s got one of the most complex personalities in the show. She basically throws herself out there to save her friends as has been there for them many times, hence the Element of Loyalty. She doesn’t try to insult her friends, just teases them. Lets not forget she seems to have dealt with bullies in the past, which she toughened up from, and she stepped in for Fluttershy when she was getting bullied. Probably why they became buddies. And despite being confident, she’s very insecure. Gives a more interesting character if you ask me.
